WINDING MACHINE OPERATOR

Key accountabilities: • Operate winding machines to produce coils, spools, or other products as per production specifications. • Set up and calibrate winding machines, ensuring proper alignment and configuration for each job. • Monitor machine operations to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards. • Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies and report any issues to the supervisor. • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of winding machines to ensure optimal performance. • Load raw materials onto the machine and ensure proper feeding during the winding process. • Record production data, including quantities, defects, and downtime, in logs or production software. • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during operations. • Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are met. • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions, escalating major issues as needed. 

Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery operation is a plus. Experience: • Experience operating winding machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment. Skills: Technical Skills: • Operate and monitor winding machines. • Set up and adjust machine parameters. • Perform basic machine troubleshooting.
