Your Role

  • Define the enterprise PLM strategy and Windchill architectural blueprint for greenfield environments.
  • Lead PLM discovery, maturity assessments, and process harmonization across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service.
  • Develop the PLM roadmap, conduct technical reviews, and phased deployment architecture.
  • Present architectural recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Create endtoend process architecture including workflows, lifecycles, versioning, and product structure definitions.
  • Ensure the solution adheres to industry best practices.
  • Lead full lifecycle implementation from requirements capture to production rollout.
  • Drive system installation, environment setup, configurations, customization scope, and integration strategy.
  • Oversee data modeling, metadata framework design, and security/ACL architecture.

Your Profile

  • 10+ years in PTC Windchill.
  • Successfully led at least one (preferably multiple) large-scale greenfield Windchill implementations.
  • Strong domain familiarity in engineering, manufacturing, and product development.
  • Own Windchill solutioning and guide team including:
  • PDMLink, PartLink, MPMLink, and Supplier Management
  • Change management, configuration management, BOM management
  • CAD data management and visualization
  • Architect integrations between Windchill and:
  • CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
  • ERP/MES Systems (SAP, etc.)
  • ThingWorx, Navigate, and IoT/digital thread environments
  • WBM (Windchill Bulk Migrator)
  • Define APIs, middleware flows, and integration patterns.
  • Expert-level proficiency in:
  • Windchill architecture & clusters
  • Java/J2EE, Info.Engine, OData, REST APIs
  • Database systems (Oracle/SQL Server)
  • Apache/Tomcat, directory services (LDAP/AD)
  • Establish DevOps/CI-CD approaches for Windchill deployments.
  • Drive UAT, cutover planning, hypercare, and postgolive optimization.
