- Testing: Group Testing Services is a trusted partner in design, process and supplier validation. The testing team ensures greater focus on customer requirements, quality and operational efficiency. This entails greater support for SKF s processes in a faster manner by applying global test standards, adapted to local customer specific requirements.

- Future Factory (Manufacturing 4.0) - Working on World class manufacturing - Lean, Green, Digital.
- Manufacturing Process Development - We support factories in the areas of process development (Heat treatment), machine building, Advanced Manufacturing - HT simulations, Additive Manufacturing, Vision Inspection etc. We are working on building innovative solutions on machines (measurement/ assembly/ clean manufacturing) and focusing on Scaling technologies like 3D printing and Camera based Inspection system with automation.
- Connected Technologies- develop new products for connectivity and sustain it. We work on sensor technology and data integration. This help customer for predictive maintenance of their assets.
RolePurpose:
- The PLM Team, part of Technology Development, plays a key role in establishing the SKF Purpose Together, we re-imagine rotation for a better tomorrow. by enabling the SKF Business Community in the management of the Technical Product Information in the best way. As part of the PLM team, the Application Services team is accountable for ownership, maintenance, and support of all applications within the PLM Portfolio.
- As a Senior Windchill Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Windchill PLM software solutions that meet our business requirements. You will play a key role in the full development cycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- KeyResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement Windchill PLM solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems.
- Customize Windchill applications using Java, Info*Engine, and Windchill APIs.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document technical designs and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain documentation for system software.
- Stay updated with the latest Windchill features and technologies.
Key Skill Knowledge Profile:
- Understand Basic Concepts of PLM
- Experience in basic and advanced Windchill / PDMLink customization
- Experience in handling development activities for projects
- Knowledge of Windchill Data Model and Rest Services
- Ability to create reports using query builder
- Basic knowledge of any database (Oracle, SQL servers)
- Working knowledge of any Bug tracking End user support tool
- CandidateProfile:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Windchill development.
- Proficient in Java, JSP, XML, and SQL.
- Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink; experience with Windchill customization, configuration, and administration.
- Knowledge of Windchill APIs and Info*Engine tasks.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
