Wind Resource Engineer in Bengaluru

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct macrositing analysis for regional wind resources based on metmast observations or mesoscale data, and deliver professional analysis insights and recommendations. Perform wind farm macrositing, metmast siting, turbine selection and energy yield calculation.

2. Compile Englishlanguage technical reports covering wind farm planning, wind measurement schemes, preproject assessment, turbine selection and micrositing.

3. Conduct technical discussions with clients in English regarding wind resource proposals and relevant technical issues.

4. Carry out site reconnaissance for projects and prepare corresponding site visit reports.

5. Collect and study windresourcerelated information and local policies of target countries, and investigate and analyze regional wind resource conditions.

6. Complete other adhoc tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Meteorology, New Energy, Wind Energy, Aerodynamics or related disciplines.

2. Minimum 3years of working experience in windresourcerelated technical roles within the newenergy industry.

3. Proficient in windresource assessment software including Windographer, WindFarmer, WT, WindPro and WASP. Familiar with international wind power technical standards; strong communication and teamwork competencies.

4. Solid written and verbal English proficiency, capable of using English as a working language.

5. Good interpersonal and presentation skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

6. Teamoriented with a cando mindset; willing to travel for business and work overtime as required.
