SCAKHI's wholesale business is scaling fast — and we're hiring a Sales Head to lead it. This is the unorganized B2B trade channel: traders, agents, wholesale markets, mandi buyers, and regional stockists. If you've spent years working Chandni Chowk, Surat, Sadar Bazaar, Erode, Hyderabad, Kolkata's Burrabazar — and have a phonebook full of traders who pick up your call — we want to talk.
What you'll own• Wholesale revenue, channel growth, and P&L
• Building and managing a network of traders, agents, and stockists across India
• Working wholesale markets directly — relationships, samples, order books, follow-ups
• Sales planning aligned with collection drops and production calendars
• Pricing, payment terms, credit management, and dispatch coordination
• Travel — heavy, regular, across major wholesale hubs
• Building and leading a small field sales team / agent network
• Feeding insights from the trade back into design and merchandising — what's selling, what's stuck, what's next
You'll thrive here if you• Have 8–15 years in unorganized wholesale apparel trade — women's ethnic wear strongly preferred
• Bring a live, working network of traders and agents across key wholesale hubs (Delhi, Surat, Jaipur, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Erode, Mumbai — at least 4–5 of these)
• Understand how the trade actually works — sampling, set buying, lifting cycles, season liquidation, payment realities
• Can negotiate hard, hold margin, and chase payments without burning bridges
• Are comfortable on the road for 15–20 days a month
• Have led a sales team or agent network before
Bonus• Existing relationships in surti, banarasi, jaipuri, or south Indian ethnic wear trade circuits
