The Data Analyst in Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data related to wholesale loan operations. This role supports business decision-making, process improvements, and regulatory compliance by delivering actionable insights and robust reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources related to loan servicing, operations, and client activity.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization within WLS operations.
- Collaborate with business partners, technology teams, and management to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support regulatory and audit requests by providing accurate and timely data extracts and analysis.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and findings for transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to automation initiatives and the adoption of advanced analytics tools.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis, within financial services or lending operations.
- Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, Sigma and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik Sense)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with data cleansing, validation, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge on AWS and Jira Management
