As an Analytics Associate on the Wholesale Credit Portfolio Analytics team, you will develop value added risk analytics solutions through the deployment of advanced analytical frameworks on top of the firm's big data resources. In this role, you will focus on leveraging data to enhance the current end-to-end credit risk process across Credit Risk from a climate risk perspective.

Job responsibilities

  • Analyze structured & unstructured data from internal & external data sources to drive actionable insights in Credit Risk from a climate risk perspective, including physical risk & transition risk.
  • Develop data visualization & summarization techniques to convey key findings in dashboards & presentations to senior management
  • Maintain & enhance climate grading methodologies, risk assessment frameworks & other analytical outputs
  • Collaborate with Credit Risk & Climate Risk stakeholders to development new tools & frameworks to enhance credit risk management processes
  • Present findings & insights in a clear & concise manner to stakeholders

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Excellent problem solving, communications and teamwork skills.
  • Must have 3 years of experience within Credit, Climate or Analytics
  • Desire to use modern technologies as a disruptive influence within banking
  • Experience with analytics and data tools (e.g., Python, SQL, etc)

Preferred qualifications

  • Financial service background preferred
  • Climate risk background preferred
