WF Network & Infrastructure Engineer

Functions:

Maintain, monitor, and improve backend IT systems for wind farm deployment and updates.

Automate system administration tasks to optimize performance, security, and uptime.

Proactively mitigate security risks through threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and security patching.

Monitor critical infrastructure components such as TLS certificates, storage capacity, and system availability.

Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.

Develop and implement concepts for infrastructure hardening, observability, and scalability.

Provide lab support and ensure smooth operation of development and testing environments.

Qualification/Training:

Strong Linux expertise (Debian, Ubuntu, Proxmox).

Proficiency in automation and scripting (Ansible, Bash, Python).

Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, LXD).

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible).

Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (tracing, metrics, logging).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitLab, GitHub).

Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure Portal & DevOps).

Proficiency in Cloud-Init and provisioning tools.

Understanding of software architecture for system reliability.

Familiarity with MinIO, Apache, Nginx, Ubuntu repositories, and Ansible Galaxies.

Fluent English skills are required; German and Spanish language skills are a plus.
