Profile Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Western Vocal Trainer to join our dynamic music education team at Salim Merchant's School of Musical Composition . The ideal candidate will have expertise vocal training abilities. The trainer will be responsible for guiding students of all ages and skill levels through the journey of mastering musical techniques, fostering creativity, and enhancing their overall musical experience.

Gyansthan has started various celebrity-headed academies with the likes of Salim Merchant, Subhash Ghai, Amish Tripathi, Kunal Vijaykar, Shiamak Davar, Cyrus Broacha, and many more. Via these academies, we have created a one-stop solution for all co-scholastic education that caters to the skill sets required for the jobs of tomorrow. We are successfully working with more than 150 schools across India training more than 100,000 students.

Responsibilities:

Provide group instructions and training for a variety of Western vocal techniques and customize lessons based on students skill levels, interests, and learning pace.

Design and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that covers theory, performance, and technique for vocals.

Prepare students for recitals, performances, and competitions, ensuring they are performance-ready and confident.

Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to students.

Maintain a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment to encourage creativity and discipline.

Apply If:

You have a Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in Music, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field.

You have minimum 6 months (preferred) of experience in teaching music, vocal techniques, or related subjects in schools/colleges.

You have a strong knowledge of vocal pedagogy, music theory and performance techniques.

You have experience in conducting music workshops, choir direction, or one-on-one coaching.

You have a strong understanding of Western music theory, ear training, and sight reading.
