About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Western Vocals Tutor to teach students through engaging and performance-oriented music sessions. The tutor will conduct both in-person classes, helping students develop strong vocal techniques and confidence in Western music styles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Western vocal training sessions for students in online and offline formats.
- Teach vocal techniques, pitch control, breathing exercises, and stage performance skills.
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and music assessments.
- Plan and deliver structured lesson plans based on student skill levels.
- Provide regular feedback and progress updates to students.
- Encourage creativity and confidence in singing.
Requirements
- Experience in Western vocal training or music teaching.
- Strong knowledge of Western music styles and vocal techniques.
- Ability to conduct in person classroom sessions at the Center.
- Good communication and student engagement skills.
- Certification or formal training in music is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching beginners and intermediate students.
- Passion for music education and student development..
- Experience preparing students for music grade examinations like Trinity board and ABRSM with Grade above 5
