CompetitivIA is looking for a Unity 3D Avatar Artist to design a high-end, realistic avatar for an AI-powered application.
Mission
You will lead the creation of a realistic, high-quality 3D avatar (digital human) designed for real-time interaction inside a Unity environment.
This avatar will not just be visual.
It will speak, interact, and represent a brand.
Your Role
- Design and model AAA-level 3D avatars with a strong focus on realism
- Create clean topology and optimized geometry for real-time rendering
- Perform retopology (high-poly low-poly)
- Build efficient and clean UV layouts
- Produce high-quality PBR textures (Substance Painter / Designer)
- Handle texture baking workflows
- Set up basic rigging for animation compatibility
- Optimize assets for Unity real-time performance (LOD, materials, atlases)
- Collaborate with developers, AI engineers, and product teams
- Contribute to shaping a new standard of AI-driven avatars

Requirements
- 2+ years experience in 3D avatar creation (Unity pipeline)
- Strong portfolio showcasing realistic avatars (NOT stylized only)
- Expertise in:
- Retopology
- UV unwrapping
- Texture baking
- PBR workflows
- Proficiency in Blender / Maya
- Understanding of real-time constraints (Unity)
- Basic rigging knowledge
- Strong eye for realism, lighting, and detail
Bonus (highly valued)
- Experience with digital humans / MetaHuman-like quality
- Experience in AI / interactive avatars
- Sense of cinematic rendering / audiovisual quality
