Job Title: Welding Inspector - Carbon Steel (CS) Pipe Fabrication

Location: Gujarat

Contract Type: [Permanent / Contractual]

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Welding Inspector with a strong background in Carbon Steel (CS) Pipe Fabrication and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will hold a CSWIP certification and possess extensive knowledge of welding inspection standards, fabrication processes, and quality assurance in CS pipe manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and verify welding processes for CS pipe fabrication and manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
  • Review and approve welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material certifications.
  • Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation for quality audits.
  • Coordinate with fabrication teams to resolve welding-related issues.
  • Monitor adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the fabrication process.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification: CSWIP (Compulsory)
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in CS pipe manufacturing and welding inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
  • Knowledge of welding consumables and metallurgy related to CS pipes.
