Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced
Welding Inspector with a strong background in
Carbon Steel (CS) Pipe Fabrication and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will hold a
CSWIP certification and possess extensive knowledge of welding inspection standards, fabrication processes, and quality assurance in CS pipe manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify welding processes for CS pipe fabrication and manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
- Review and approve welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material certifications.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation for quality audits.
- Coordinate with fabrication teams to resolve welding-related issues.
- Monitor adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification: CSWIP (Compulsory)
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in CS pipe manufacturing and welding inspection.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication standards, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
- Knowledge of welding consumables and metallurgy related to CS pipes.
