Ensure Compliance with Codes & Standards: Maintain strong awareness and application of ASME, IBR, API, and other relevant codes and standards in all welding and fabrication activities.
Fabrication Expertise: Apply knowledge of pressure vessel and heat exchanger fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to quality and safety requirements.
Metallurgy & Heat Treatment: Understand basic welding metallurgy and implement appropriate heat treatment processes for different materials and joints.
Failure Analysis & Corrective Actions: Conduct root cause analysis for welding-related failures and recommend effective corrective and preventive measures.
Innovation in Welding Technology: Develop and implement new welding procedures, techniques, and technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Shop Surveillance: Monitor and supervise welding activities on the shop floor to ensure compliance with approved procedures and quality standards.
Automatic Welding Systems: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in automatic tube-to-tubesheet welding and other automated welding processes.
Communication Skills: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, maintain records of welding activities, and ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections.
