Role Overview

The Wedding Sales Manager will be responsible for driving wedding and social event revenue for Lohono Stays through lead generation, client relationship management, venue showcasing, and end-to-end sales conversion. The role requires a strong understanding of luxury hospitality, destination weddings, event planning, and high-value customer engagement.

The individual will act as the primary point of contact for wedding inquiries and ensure seamless coordination between clients and internal operational teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Sales

  • Drive wedding and social event revenue in line with assigned annual and monthly targets.
  • Generate and convert wedding leads through direct sales, referrals, wedding planners, agencies, and partnerships.
  • Build a strong pipeline for destination weddings, pre-wedding events, and large social celebrations.
  • Conduct venue presentations, property walkthroughs, and client meetings to maximize conversions.
  • Prepare customized proposals, costing, and commercial negotiations.

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle from inquiry to closure.
  • Build strong relationships with wedding planners, corporates, HNIs, and repeat clientele.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and high conversion ratios across all wedding inquiries.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction and service excellence throughout the planning process.

Coordination & Execution

  • Work closely with Operations, F&B, Reservations, Revenue, and Venue/HO teams for smooth event execution.
  • Ensure accurate handover of event details post-confirmation.
  • Monitor inventory utilization and optimize wedding revenue opportunities.

Market Development

  • Identify new wedding markets and partnership opportunities.
  • Participate in wedding exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing benchmarks.

Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain accurate sales reports, funnel tracking, and revenue forecasts.
  • Monitor inquiry-to-conversion ratios and overall business performance.
  • Update CRM systems and ensure proper documentation of all bookings and contracts.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4–8 years of experience in wedding sales, luxury hospitality sales, banquet sales, or destination wedding management.
  • Strong network with wedding planners, event agencies, and luxury clientele preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial understanding and revenue orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value events simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as per business requirements-PAN India.
