Position: Weddings Planner

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative, organised, and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our Event Management team. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of experience in planning and coordinating weddings, with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering seamless and memorable events.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Coordination & Planning

2. Meet clients to understand wedding requirements, themes, preferences, and budgets.

3. Create detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists.

4. Suggest creative concepts, themes, dcor ideas, and entertainment options.

5. Provide regular updates to clients and maintain strong relationships.

Vendor & Partner Management

1. Coordinate with vendors such as dcor teams, caterers, photographers, makeup artists, entertainment, logistics, etc.

2. Negotiate vendor rates and ensure services align with client requirements.

3. Maintain and update vendor databases.

Event Coordination & Execution

1. Oversee pre-event preparations, rehearsals, and on-ground setup.

2. Ensure smooth execution of all ceremonies: Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, Wedding, Reception, etc.

3. Handle last-minute changes or issues calmly and professionally.

4. Supervise event flow according to timelines and manage guest hospitality when needed.

Design & Creativity

1. Support in developing event mood boards, dcor layouts, and theme concepts.

2. Collaborate with design and production teams for deliverables.

3. Suggest innovative ideas to enhance the wedding experience.

4. Budgeting & Documentation

5. Prepare cost sheets, proposals, and event quotations.

6. Track expenses and ensure events stay within client budgets.

7. Maintain proper event documentation and reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.

12 years of experience in wedding planning or event coordination.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

Creativity with a good eye for design and trends.

Ability to work under pressure and handle on-ground challenges.

Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of design tools (Canva, PowerPoint) is a plus.
