Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain WAS 7+ and JEE Server runtime environments
Develop automation scripts using Jython, Python, Perl, and Shell scripting (Bash/Ksh/Zsh) for deployment and administration tasks
Perform application resource binding and configuration management for J2EE applications
Support multi-tier, remote, and scheduled deployments across large server farms
Utilize build and release tools like ANT, Maven, Jenkins, SVN, and Nexus for automated deployment pipelines
Monitor and maintain Linux/Unix servers and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable release processes
Analyze and resolve deployment failures, performance issues, and system bottlenecks
Ensure adherence to release management best practices and standards
Document release processes, deployment procedures, and automation scripts
