Screentime Digital is a fast-growing content and creative technology agency building highperformance websites, brand experiences, and AIdriven content workflows for creators and businesses. We are seeking an experienced WordPress Website Developer to lead development across our client projects and inhouse brands.

Role: WordPress Website Developer

Location: Remote

Compensation: Per Project + performance incentives

Start: [Immediate/Within 30 days]

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress sites using custom themes, child themes, and bestpractice plugin stacks.
• Convert approved designs (Figma/Adobe XD) into pixelperfect, responsive pages with clean, semantic code.
• Implement speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals optimizations (caching, minification, image/CDN, lazy loading).
• Develop custom post types, taxonomies, and Gutenberg blocks; write/extend functions in PHP as needed.
• Integrate APIs and thirdparty services (marketing automation, analytics, CRM, payment gateways).
• Set up WooCommerce stores, product templates, checkout flows, and performance/security hardening.
• Manage staging/production deployments, backups, version control (Git), and QA processes.
• Troubleshoot bugs, security issues, and compatibility conflicts with timely fixes and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 35+ years of handson WordPress development with a strong live portfolio.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript/ES6, MySQL; solid understanding of WP hooks/filters.
• Experience with page builders (Elementor preferred) and custom theme development beyond builders.
• Familiarity with performance tooling (Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights), SEO basics, and accessibility.
• Comfortable with Git, cPanel/SSH, staging workflows, and DNS/domain setups.
• Experience with WooCommerce, payment gateways (Razorpay/Stripe), and membership/subscription setups.
• Clear communication, reliable timelines, and collaborative attitude with designers and content teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with headless WordPress (REST/GraphQL), Next.js, or Jamstack.
• Knowledge of marketing automation (n8n, Make, Zapier), tag management, and analytics (GA4, GTM).
• Basic on-page SEO, schema, and technical SEO implementation.
• Understanding of security best practices (WAF, hardening, backups, malware cleanup).
