About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled WebMethods Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using the WebMethods platform. The ideal candidate must have hands-on development experience (not admin/support) and a solid understanding of integration concepts, API management, and enterprise data flow. This role involves collaborating with architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using WebMethods (version 10.x+).
- Work on Integration Server, API Gateway, and Managed File Transfer (MFT).
- Develop, optimize, and maintain interfaces for seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with Architects and Business Analysts to understand work items, CRs, and technical requirements.
- Provide accurate estimation for Change Requests and work packets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues raised by development teams.
- Ensure best practices, coding standards, and performance benchmarks are followed.
- Work in an agile, collaborative environment to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a WebMethods Developer (development focusNOT admin/support).
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- WebMethods Integration Server (IS)
- API Gateway
- Managed File Transfer (MFT) / Active Transfer
- Experience working on WebMethods version 10.x or above.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and enterprise application integration (EAI).
- Ability to analyze, estimate, and execute CRs and work packets.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
