We are seeking a talented and driven Web Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance software solutions that align with both customer needs and internal business goals. Job Title: Web Software Engineer
Location: Remote
Contract: Duration: 6-Month Contract(with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance)
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: Analyse requirements and design software solutions that align with customer and internal specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, fix bugs, and continuously maintain and enhance software systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Innovation & Integration: Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Evaluate multiple approaches to software development challenges and choose the most effective solution based on project requirements.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and integrate development work with broader company objectives.
- Code Performance: Monitor and optimize the performance of implemented code, ensuring adherence to security standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years in software development, design, and documentation.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of at least two of the following technologies:
- Node.js
- Golang
- ColdFusion/Lucee
- JavaScript
- Basic Skills: Familiarity with Linux systems and ability to write basic SQL queries.
- Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments and within collaborative, team-oriented settings.
- Design & Testing: Strong understanding of design patterns, software architecture, and testing methodologies.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, capable of working effectively in a remote environment.
