Internship Role: Web Scraping & Data Automation InternKey Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and optimize scripts to collect data from platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and more.
- Use automation tools and libraries such as Make.com (Integromat), Python (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium), and browser automation frameworks.
- Clean and organize extracted data for marketing intelligence and lead generation campaigns.
- Research best practices for bypassing anti-scraping measures and handling dynamic website content.
- Maintain proper documentation of workflows, scripts, and scraping logs.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and tech teams to identify data needs and optimize outputs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and privacy standards in data scraping.
Required Skills- Proficiency with at least one scraping library/tool (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, Puppeteer).
- Basic working knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Make.com or any other automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for DOM navigation.
- Passion for data-driven marketing and social media platforms.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage timelines effectively.
Desirable (Not Mandatory)- Experience scraping or analyzing data from social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Reddit).
- Familiarity with proxy management, headless browsers, and anti-bot detection strategies.
- Knowledge of data handling libraries like Pandas or NumPy.
- Prior internship or project experience in automation or data scraping.
