Web Research Specialist

We are hiring a Freelance Web Research Specialist for an eight-week remote project with Turing.

The role involves creating complex research questions to evaluate AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude. You will research verifiable facts using government and institutional databases, archives, registries, legal records and PDF documents. Each question must have one accurate answer supported by a complete evidence trail and precise citations.

Engagement details:

• Employment type: Freelance/independent contractor
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Commitment: 40 hours per week
• Payment: $30 per completed task for non-US candidates
• Average task duration: Approximately 3 hours
• Assessment: Mandatory; AI-generated answers are not permitted

Candidates from investigative research, OSINT, fact-checking, legal research, KYC, due diligence, patent research, genealogy, librarianship, academic research, AI evaluation or puzzle creation backgrounds may be suitable.
