Position Overview
The Web Producer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing content across Autodesk's web properties. Working closely with designers, content editors, developers, and business stakeholders, this role ensures that web experiences are accurate, scalable, accessible, and aligned with brand and technical standards. Using enterprise and headless content management systems (CMS), the Web Producer translates creative and content requirements into high-quality, production-ready web pages while maintaining performance, usability, and structural integrity. This role operates within Autodesk's high-trust, flexible work environment and requires strong professional maturity, ownership, and accountability to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities
Implement, update, and maintain online content across Autodesk web properties
Build web pages from approved design files and structured content models
Manage and prioritize personal project schedules to meet delivery timelines
Ensure code meets established quality, accessibility, SEO, and performance standards
Maintain logical content structure, taxonomy, and file naming conventions within the existing information architecture
Collaborate with designers, editors, developers, and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless web experiences
Troubleshoot layout, functionality, and cross-browser compatibility issues
Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and technical best practices
Support implementation of new web technologies, CMS enhancements, and workflow improvements
Demonstrate ownership of assigned projects from intake through delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are consistently met
Operate effectively in a flexible, autonomy-driven environment while maintaining focus, productivity, and professionalism
Minimum Qualification
3+ years of experience in a similar role within a medium to large corporate environment or web development firm
Proven experience working with Web Content Management Systems (CMS), such as Adobe AEM and/or Contentful
Understanding of structured content modelling and component-based page assembly
Ability to write high-quality, well-documented HTML/XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Strong knowledge of cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility standards
Experience working with web design tools and translating graphic source files into production-ready web pages
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong team player with the ability to build effective working relationships across cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-trust, flexible work environment while maintaining accountability and delivery standards
Self-motivated with strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Exhibits professional maturity, sound judgment, and reliability in collaborative, fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe AEM) and/or headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful)
Familiarity with API-driven content delivery models
Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
Experience working in agile or fast-paced production environments
Proven track record of delivering consistent results in flexible or hybrid work settings
