SEO Web Engineer (Entry-Level)

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Web Engineer to help build, optimize, and maintain web applications with a strong focus on technical SEO. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about web development and eager to learn how search engine optimization and modern web technologies work together.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Development & Optimization:

• Implement clean, semantic HTML/CSS/JavaScript for SEO-friendly websites.

• Work with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Next.js, or custom stacks) to improve site structure and performance.

• Technical SEO Enhancements:

• Ensure proper indexing, structured data, and schema markup.

• Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness.

• Collaboration:

• Partner with marketing and content teams to integrate SEO best practices.

• Coordinate with designers and backend developers to maintain SEO requirements during site updates.

• Monitoring & Reporting:

• Use tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Lighthouse to monitor site health and track SEO metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic web development concepts.

• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals such as meta tags, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, etc.

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic debugging.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Optional but a Plus)

• Experience with frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.

• Exposure to server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
