Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer to design, build, and maintain websites and web applications. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of web technologies, user experience, and responsive design, and can work collaboratively to create fast, secure, and visually appealing websites.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Build responsive layouts that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers
- Test websites for functionality, performance, and compatibility
- Fix bugs and optimize websites for speed and usability
- Keep up to date with new web technologies and best practices
Required Skills
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience in Wordpress is a must
- Familiarity with frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Bootstrap)
- Basic understanding of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, or Python)
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of web accessibility and SEO basics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with APIs and RESTful services
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Education & Experience
- Relevant coursework, certification, or degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Practical experience through projects, internships, or a portfolio is highly valued
