Job Summary
The role is responsible for coding and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to given specifications.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
- Website and software application development and maintenance.
- Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
- Conferring with the operations / client team to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
- Performing website updates.
- Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
- Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through research.
- Back up files from websites to local directories for recovery.
- Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting problems.
- Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
Required Experience And Qualifications
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
- Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages, especially PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, API and Payment Gateway Integration.
- The position requires constant communication with colleagues.
