Web Developer Intern

About The Role

This is a hands on internship, not a shadowing exercise. From your second week you will be writing code that ends up on client sites, reviewed by our tech head before it ships.

You will work across the stack on marketing sites, web apps and the occasional dashboard, mostly in React and Next.js with Tailwind. If you have only built personal projects so far, that is fine. We care more about how you think than what is on your CV.

What you will do

• Build responsive, accessible interfaces from designs handed over by our design team
• Turn client feedback into changes without breaking what already works
• Write components that other people on the team can read and reuse
• Test your work across devices before it goes for review
• Join client calls occasionally so you understand what you are building and why
  
  

What we are looking for

• Comfortable with HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals
• Some experience with React, whether from coursework or personal projects
• Able to read a design and reproduce it accurately
• Willing to ask questions early rather than stay stuck for a day
• Available for six months, full time, working remotely with us
  
  

Nice to have

• Next.js or any other React framework
• Tailwind CSS or a similar utility first approach
• Git and a public repository we can look through
• An eye for typography and spacing
