About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join Groww's dynamic product team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and enhancing user-facing journeys that are both pleasing and performant. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, backend engineers, and UI/UX designers to create scalable, efficient, and innovative web applications. Your expertise will help shape the future of Groww's digital platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and security. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. You should have 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience developing applications on the web platform, with proficiency in ReactJS, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with tools and libraries such as webpack, redux, redux-thunk, nodeJS, JIRA, and Jenkins is essential. You should have demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a knack for problem-solving and executing solutions effectively. A solid understanding of data structures, programming concepts, and design intricacies is crucial. Additionally, you should have a customer-focused mindset, a passion for writing clean, scalable code, and a desire to continuously learn and explore new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user-facing features with a focus on usability and performance, ensuring a seamless experience for Groww's users.
- Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and UI/UX designers to translate product vision into functional and attractive interfaces.
- Create comprehensive technical design documentation to support scalable, maintainable, and testable codebases.
- Participate in regular peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and consistency.
- Maintain and upgrade existing code, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve application stability and performance.
- Drive the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from conception through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of features.
- Integrate complex third-party libraries and APIs, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Explore and adopt new libraries, frameworks, and technologies to enhance product capabilities and developer productivity.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Take ownership of your work, ensuring high-quality output and alignment with organizational goals.
