Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify with a strong background in frontend development and eCommerce website creation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performance websites using modern technologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress websites using page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, Beaver Builder, and Visual Composer.
- Convert Figma designs and PSD files into fully functional, responsive WordPress and Shopify themes.
- Build and maintain Shopify stores, including custom theme development, app integration, and payment gateway setup.
- Implement WooCommerce for eCommerce stores and configure product pages, carts, and checkout flows.
- Ensure all websites are SEO-optimized, mobile-responsive, and meet performance standards (Core Web Vitals).
- Integrate and manage third-party APIs, shipping, and payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
- Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and security audits.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement pixel-perfect websites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices, schema markup, and optimize URLs, meta tags, and headings.
Required Skill Set:
- 1+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer and Shopify Developer.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive design techniques.
- Deep understanding of WordPress core, custom theme development, and plugin customization.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid templating language.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, product configuration, and checkout customization.
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Photoshop (basic editing), and converting designs to code.
- Understanding of technical SEO, page speed optimization, and structured data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of web security best practices, backups, and maintenance routines.
