As we expand, we're looking for a skilled and motivated *Full Stack Web Developer* to join our team and help us build and improve multiple digital products.

About the Client

CanadianSME ([www.canadiansme.ca](http://www.canadiansme.ca)) is Canada's leading platform dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized businesses. Alongside its core media and community initiatives, CanadianSME is actively working on new digital products and platforms to better serve entrepreneurs across Canadaincluding SMEHub.ca and other upcoming projects.

To support this growth, we are hiring a *Web Developer & Coder* who will work closely with our internal team and other developers across various projects, contributing to both ongoing development and new product creation.

Salary and Shift

* Salary from 40000 INR to 50,000 INR per month*

* *Full-time role only (not freelance)*

* *Night shift* (timings will be discussed during the interview)

## Key Responsibilities

* Work with other developers to build, improve, and maintain multiple web projects and new product initiatives

* Develop clean, scalable, and well-documented code using *HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend technologies (e.g., **PHP / Node.js*)

* Contribute to full-cycle development: planning, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support

* Build and integrate APIs and third-party tools (payment gateways, CRM, email platforms, analytics, etc.)

* Customize and maintain CMS-based websites when required (WordPress experience is a plus, not the core requirement)

* Optimize web applications for speed, performance, security, SEO basics, and mobile responsiveness

* Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve overall system reliability

* Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to align development with brand and user experience

* Support deployments, hosting management, backups, and maintenance tasks

## Qualifications

* *3+ years* of hands-on web development experience

* Strong proficiency in *HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript*

* Experience with backend development (PHP and/or Node.js) and databases (MySQL or similar)

* Familiarity with *Git/GitHub* and working in collaborative development environments

* Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development

* Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup

* Ability to manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-moving environment

## Nice to Have

* Experience building *membership platforms*, communities, or subscription-based products

* Familiarity with WordPress development (themes/plugins)

* Experience with tools like *Figma, Trello*, Google Analytics

* Familiarity with integrations like WooCommerce, Mailchimp, Zapier, Stripe/Razorpay, etc.

* Knowledge of security best practices (SSL, basic hardening, access control)
