Web Developer

• Build highly interactive, user-centric, and responsive web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS
• Develop mobile-compatible web interfaces using cross-browser frameworks such as jQuery Mobile, PhoneGap, and Titanium
• Participate in design strategy meetings and contribute to the creation of design documentation for new features, functionality enhancements, and bug fixes
• Create intuitive and visually engaging user flows for complex business use cases
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following agile development methodologies
• Maintain and enhance internal libraries for frontend development standards and best practices
• Estimate task timelines effectively and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines
• Collaborate in a high-energy, cross-functional team focused on continuous improvement and innovation
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control systems, and automated/manual testing processes (including tools like Selenium)
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in frontend development, responsive design, AJAX, and eCommerce workflows
• Contribute to the ongoing learning culture by mentoring peers and pursuing professional growth in alignment with organizational goals

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BE/BTech) in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Strong creative and design sensibility
• Proven experience in responsive web design using frameworks such as Bootstrap, Zurb Foundation 5, or similar
• Proficient in HTML, XHTML, HTML5 and object-oriented CSS3, including transitions, transforms, and keyframe animations
• Experience working with HTML5 features such as canvas, SVG, audio/video tags, local caching, and websockets
• Familiarity with web design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, GIMP, OpenLaszlo, or Xara Xtreme
• Ability to write cross-browser compatible animations and user experiences
• Solid understanding of eCommerce workflows and AJAX frameworks
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining clear and effective communication
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal/written communication
