About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Web Developer (WD) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in web application development, with hands-on experience in ASP.NET MVC, C#, jQuery, and related technologies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our experienced technical team to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications that support our expanding digital solutions portfolio. Your work will directly impact the functionality, usability, and performance of our platforms, enabling us to deliver innovative social tech solutions to our clients and stakeholders.
The Web Developer will be responsible for translating project requirements into functional, efficient, and scalable web applications. You will contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized and reputable institution. Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in web development, specifically working with ASP.NET MVC, C#, and related technologies. Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications is highly desirable.
Required skills include a basic understanding of C# and ASP.NET MVC, familiarity with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases. Exposure to Entity Framework or similar ORM tools is preferred, along with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies. Good communication and teamwork abilities are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The Web Developer will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of ASP.NET MVC web applications. Key responsibilities include producing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C#, implementing client-side features using jQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX, and performing database operations with Entity Framework or other ORM tools. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving issues within existing applications, engaging actively in code reviews and team meetings, and applying best practices related to MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and responsive design.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications meet technical and user requirements, participate in testing and deployment activities, and stay updated on emerging web development trends to continuously improve platform performance and security.
