Job Summary

We are looking for a Healthcare Content Writer with a strong medical/clinical background to research, create, and edit high-quality medical content. The ideal candidate should understand medical terminology, healthcare processes, diagnostics, treatments, and patient communication.

This role involves writing blogs, website content, patient education materials, product descriptions, medical articles, and SEO-friendly content for healthcare platforms.

Key Responsibilities1. Content Creation
  • Write clear, accurate, and engaging content on medical topics, diseases, diagnostics, pathology, radiology, pharmacy, surgeries, and healthcare workflows.
  • Create SEO-optimized blogs, landing pages, and medical guides.
  • Produce patient education material, FAQs, brochures, and patient-friendly explanations.
  • Develop content for doctor software pages, healthcare apps, and medical products.
2. Research & Accuracy
  • Research medical topics using trusted sources: WHO, Mayo Clinic, PubMed, CDC, ICMR, etc.
  • Ensure scientifically accurate, evidence-based medical writing.
  • Convert complex medical concepts into easy-to-understand language.
3. SEO & Digital Content
  • Implement SEO best practices (keywords, headings, readability).
  • Create content for websites, social media, newsletters, and YouTube scripts.
  • Optimize content for improved ranking, engagement, and conversions.
4. Collaboration
  • Work closely with doctors, product teams, designers, and marketing teams.
  • Understand healthcare software features and convert them into benefit-focused content.
  • Support product launches, campaigns, and healthcare branding.
5. Quality Assurance
  • Fact-check medical information.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines and ethics.
  • Edit and proofread to maintain professional quality.
Required Skills
  • Strong medical terminology and healthcare industry knowledge.
  • Excellent command of English writing & grammar.
  • Understanding of SEO writing, keywords, metadata, and content structure.
  • Ability to simplify complex medical concepts.
  • Creativity, storytelling, and patient-friendly communication.
  • Experience with healthcare blogs, EMR/LIMS/HMS content, or medical articles preferred.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc / M.Sc (Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Nursing) Preferred
  • OR Any graduate with strong medical writing experience
  • 0.51 years of experience in healthcare writing (freshers with medical background can apply).
  • Knowledge of pathology, diagnostics, or hospital workflows is an added advantage.
