We are looking for an experienced Weaving Technician / Weaving Master / Assistant Manager Weaving with experience in textile weaving with strong hands-on experience in Terry Looms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day weaving operations and ensure smooth production.
- Handle and troubleshoot Terry Looms and associated weaving machinery.
- Monitor loom performance, production efficiency and machine utilization.
- Identify and rectify loom-related technical issues and breakdowns.
- Ensure proper loom settings, weaving parameters and production standards.
- Monitor fabric quality and minimize weaving defects, wastage and rejections.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Stores teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure timely production as per the planned schedule and customer requirements.
- Supervise and guide weaving operators, technicians and other shop-floor personnel.
- Ensure proper handling of yarn, beam, sizing and other weaving-related materials.
- Analyze recurring machine/production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production records, efficiency reports and breakdown reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping and operational standards.
- Train and develop operators and junior technicians on machine operation and troubleshooting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce production losses.
