Job Summary

As a Vice President in the Reconciliations Center of Excellence, you lead and oversee global reconciliation governance and escalation support for the International Private Bank business. You drive operational risk management, control discipline, and strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and resilience. You partner closely with onshore teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver transformation, periodic controls reviews, and execution aligned to the firm's strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate strategic direction for the reconciliation function with a global perspective.
  • Lead the team to deliver high-quality operations and meet key performance outcomes.
  • Maximize capacity through resource planning, training, and succession planning.
  • Ensure business continuity plans are current, policy-aligned, and understood by all staff.
  • Manage stakeholders inclusively and promote collaborative cross-team execution.
  • Drive innovation by challenging the status quo and shaping strategic process solutions.
  • Decide objectively on operational issues, governance actions, and escalations.
  • Enforce adherence to procedures to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Establish governance and controls frameworks, conducting periodic reviews with control partners.
  • Validate daily controls completion, sign-offs, and production of required metrics.
  • Partner with Business, Controls, Product, Technology, and Compliance to deliver transformation and growth agendas.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Hold a CA, MBA, or Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum 12 years of core operations experience within a financial services environment.
  • Demonstrate strong people leadership with experience managing teams across locations.
  • Communicate clearly and influence senior stakeholders through strong executive presence.
  • Analyze complex operational issues and drive structured problem resolution.
  • Own outcomes with accountability in a dynamic environment while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Maintain strong partnership mindset and relationship management across internal stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrate reconciliation process domain expertise in a global operating model.
  • Leverage iRecs knowledge to strengthen reconciliation governance and execution.
  • Apply Tableau to build operational insights, dashboards, and metrics reporting.
  • Use Python to support automation, analysis, and control enhancement initiatives.
  • Utilize Alteryx to streamline workflows and improve process efficiency.
  • Earn Alteryx CORE certification or equivalent analytics credentialing.
  • Understand modern front-end and cloud technologies to partner effectively with Technology teams.
