Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Training & Capability Development leader to drive capability building across Asian markets, particularly Southeast Asia.

The role will focus on strengthening sales force capability, managerial coaching skills, and commercial leadership development across countries. The incumbent will work closely with country teams to design and implement structured training programs aligned with business priorities.

A key mandate will be to establish an Asia Commercial Capability Academy, build future sales leadership pipelines, and introduce AI-enabled learning platforms to scale capability development across markets.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Capability Development

  • Develop and implement capability development strategy for sales teams and commercial leaders across Asia
  • Identify capability gaps and implement targeted training programs

Sales Force & Managerial Capability

  • Strengthen selling skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement capability
  • Build structured coaching frameworks for first-line managers

Asia Commercial Capability Academy

  • Establish structured learning pathways for sales representatives, managers, and commercial leaders
  • Standardize key capability programs across Asian markets

Sales Leadership Development

  • Support development of future commercial leaders through leadership development initiatives and succession pipelines

Digital Learning & Training Effectiveness

  • Implement digital and AI-enabled learning platforms
  • Track training effectiveness and link capability development to business outcomes

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in sales training design and adult learning methodologies
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across countries and functions
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills for sales teams and commercial leaders
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and modern training technologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work across diverse Asian markets
  • Leadership potential to build and scale a regional capability development function
