WCS (WebSphere Commerce) Sr. Developer

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

WCS Development: Design, develop, and maintain WebSphere Commerce applications, including custom features, services, and integrations.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior developers on WCS best practices and development methodologies.

Customization & Configuration: Customize WebSphere Commerce components, such as catalogs, order management, pricing, promotions, and search functionalities, to meet business requirements.

Integration: Integrate WCS with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, CRM, ERP, and content management systems (CMS).

Performance Tuning: Optimize the performance and scalability of the WCS platform to ensure high availability and a seamless user experience.

Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and technical challenges within the WCS environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce functionalities.

Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code. Follow coding standards and best practices.

Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation for the developed solutions, configurations, and processes.
