Job description

Application Development:

Design, develop, and maintain ecommerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Requirements Analysis:

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Participate in design discussions and provide input on technical solutions.

Testing and Debugging:

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other issues.

Ensure applications meet quality standards and requirements.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with other developers, QA analysts, and product managers to achieve project goals.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Communicate technical requirements and project progress to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to WebSphere Commerce development.

Continuously improve code quality, structure, and maintainability.

Refactor existing code to enhance performance and scalability.
