About CCMO

Custody and Capital Market Operations (CCMO) provides core operations support to the Custody and Capital Market related businesses of the Bank such as Clearing Bank, Professional Clearing Member (PCM), Custody & Fund Accounting, Depository Participant, IPO / NFO, General Banking services including Onboarding / Account opening in addition to providing & implementing digital solutions and ensuring 100% digital adoption. Operations support is to International Financial Tec-City (GIFT) is also part of the CCMO Custody Operations.

CCMO is also actively involved in designing business solutions and defining processes, controls, and compliance to regulatory norms.

AbouttheRole

Axis Bank is a SEBI registered Custodian under SEBI (Custodian of Securities & Goods) Regulations 1996 and is also a registered Depository Participant on both NSDL and CDSL. Axis Bank offers custodial services to various client categories like AIF, PMS, FDI, FPI, FVCI, Corporate Bodies, MF, Insurance Companies etc.

Axis Bank Custody is looking for candidates who can participate in combing/reviewing the processes with users, identifying areas of improvement and risk, preparing the business cases, BRS, test cases, liaison with the business technology groups, planning and monitoring the progress of the project, UAT testing and managing stakeholders.

The candidates should have prior work experience and through understanding of Custody Operations in various sub areas like trade settlements, corporate actions, billing, regulatory reporting, etc

Key Responsibilities
  • Identifying key areas of improvement in the system.
  • Preparation of BRS and test cases documents in liaison with operations team.
  • Calculation and preparation of the ROI documents,
  • Quantifying benefits in monetary terms
  • Participating in UAT of the system enhancements,
  • Documenting observations and liaising with the vendors for resolution and closure
  • Providing UAT signoffs, liaising with internal teams for relevant stagewise documentations required.
  • Post deployment sanity testing in live environment
  • Comprehending the new regulatory changes and its impact on system, documenting them and providing business requirement to vendor.
Qualifications
  • Any Degree / Master's degree with experience of 5+ years in Custody Operations
  • NISM/NCFM certifications in custody & capital market related examinations. Any other regulatory certification will be an added advantage
