Watch CAD Designer

About the Role

Rotoris is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Watch CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of watch design, 3D modelling, and watch manufacturing processes, with the ability to transform creative concepts into accurate, production-ready models.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed 3D CAD models for watches, including cases, dials, hands, straps, bracelets, and other components.
Translate design concepts, sketches, and references into precise, production-ready CAD files.
Work on intricate detailing, proportions, dimensions, and component fitting.
Prepare realistic 3D renders for design presentations and approvals.
Ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements, technical specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
Coordinate with design, production, and merchandising teams to develop new watch collections.
Modify designs based on feedback while maintaining design accuracy and manufacturing feasibility.
Stay updated with the latest watch design trends, materials, techniques, and CAD technologies.

Requirements

2–5 years of relevant experience in watch CAD designing or a related product-design field.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino 3D, SolidWorks, or other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of watch components, materials, manufacturing processes, and finishing techniques.
Knowledge of materials such as stainless steel, titanium, ceramic, and different strap materials is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple designs and meet deadlines.
