As our
Warranty Techician, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience by providing technical field support, driving effective failure analysis, and ensuring timely warranty resolution for hydraulic systems and applications across India.
You will help customers maximize equipment uptime through rapid troubleshooting, evidence-based warranty assessment, and effective containment actions. By identifying root causes, supporting quality improvements, and enabling successful product performance in the field, you will strengthen customer trust, reduce recurring issues, and contribute to continuous product and process improvement.
You'll collaborate with Customer Quality, Application Engineering, Product Application Engineering, Plant Quality, Manufacturing teams, and customers while taking ownership of field failure analysis, warranty management, customer support activities, and technical problem resolution, helping us move toward a more reliable, customer-centric, and quality-driven future.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform on-site failure analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support for hydraulic systems, components, and applications.
- Support customers through warranty claim validation, containment actions, retrofit activities, and timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate chronic and recurring issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize SAP and quality tools to document, manage, and close warranty cases while preparing structured technical reports and supporting 8D investigations.
- Deliver customer training and support new product launches through on-site engagement, identifying assembly and process gaps to prevent future quality concerns.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 8–10 years of experience in hydraulics, field service, troubleshooting, and customer support.
- Strong technical expertise in hydraulic systems, hydraulic components, mobile and industrial hydraulic applications, and interpretation of hydraulic circuit diagrams.
- Experience using SAP (ERP) for warranty management, claim processing, documentation, and tracking activities.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical issues.
- Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, communication, and customer relationship skills, with a proactive mindset and willingness to travel extensively across India and occasionally internationally.
