Job Description

About the Role

This is a hands-on, floor-level operations role. You'll be responsible for the entire journey of an order from the moment it hits our system to the moment it's handed to the courier partner. You'll also own physical inventory accuracy, returns processing, and warehouse organisation.

You'll work closely with the Operations Manager and founding team. This is a small team where your work is visible, your contribution matters, and your growth path is clear.

Key Responsibilities

A. Order Fulfilment & Dispatch

  • Pick products from designated shelf locations based on order details from Unicommerce (our OMS platform)
  • Perform a quality check (QC) on every product before packing — inspect against approved samples for scratches, defects, branding accuracy, clasp function, and strap quality
  • Pack each order in OATH-branded packaging following the packing SOP — watch box, velvet insert, thank-you card, outer shipping box, sealed with branded tape
  • Generate shipping manifests and print AWB labels via the OMS or courier portal
  • Coordinate with courier partners for scheduled daily pickups and ensure timely handovers
  • Maintain a daily dispatch log with order IDs, SKU details, AWB numbers, courier name, and dispatch timestamps
  • Ensure same-day dispatch for all orders received before 2:00 PM

B. Inventory Management

  • Receive inward stock shipments from vendors and conduct first-level physical count against the vendor packing list at SKU level
  • Report any count discrepancies, damage, or missing units to the Operations Manager immediately with photographic evidence
  • Store products in designated shelf locations following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and SKU-wise organisation
  • Maintain barcode and SKU labels on all shelves, bins, and products for accurate scanning and identification
  • Conduct weekly physical inventory counts (every Wednesday) and report reconciliation against Unicommerce stock levels
  • Monitor packaging material stock (watch boxes, inserts, thank-you cards, outer boxes, bubble wrap, tape) and flag reorder triggers when any item drops below the 50-order buffer threshold
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and hygienic at all times — workstation, packing area, shelving, and courier handoff zone

C. Returns & Reverse Logistics

  • Receive returned products from courier partners and inspect against the return condition checklist
  • Segregate returns into three categories: resaleable (can be restocked), damaged (vendor claim), defective (vendor QC feedback)
  • Restock resaleable returns to the appropriate shelf locations and update inventory in Unicommerce
  • Document the condition of every returned product with photographs and notes in the returns log
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager on disposition of damaged and defective units — vendor claims, write-offs, or disposal

D. Daily Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit a daily end-of-day dispatch report to the Operations Manager by 6:00 PM — orders processed, packed, dispatched, pending, and any issues encountered
  • Flag any operational issues, stock-out risks, packaging shortages, courier delays, or quality concerns to the Operations Manager immediately — do not wait for EOD
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager on workload prioritisation during peak days, sale events, or high-volume periods
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions as defined for the role — no deviations without prior approval
  • Participate in brief daily morning check-ins with the Operations Manager to align on the day's priorities

Requirements

Must Have

  • Prior experience in warehouse, fulfilment, packing, or inventory operations (e-commerce fulfilment experience is a strong plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset — every order represents the brand
  • Comfortable with basic technology — can learn OMS platforms (Unicommerce), courier portals, and spreadsheets
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently without constant supervision
  • Physically fit for warehouse work — standing, lifting packages (up to 5–10 kg), packing, and organising throughout the day
  • Honest, trustworthy, and responsible — you will handle premium inventory worth lakhs daily
  • Basic reading and writing ability in Hindi and/or English for labels, logs, and reports

Good to Have

  • Experience with e-commerce order processing, AWB generation, or courier partner coordination
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning, inventory management systems, or warehouse management tools
  • Experience handling premium or fragile products (jewellery, watches, electronics, luxury goods)
  • Knowledge of FIFO, basic inventory principles, and return processing workflows

What We Offer

  • Monthly salary of ₹18,000 in-hand, credited by the 7th of each month
  • Salary review after successful completion of 90-day probation, based on performance, attendance, and quality of work
  • Paid leaves: Casual Leave (10 days), Sick Leave (6 days), Earned Leave (8 days) per year
  • Public holidays as per the Rajasthan State Government calendar
  • Structured onboarding with documented SOPs — you'll know exactly what's expected from Day 1
  • Clear growth path — as OATH scales, this role grows into a Fulfilment Lead position with team management responsibilities
  • Small, focused team with direct access to the founding team — your work is seen, valued, and rewarded
