Job Description
Complete end to end handling of wh operations in plant & Customer handling
Warehouse Operations
- Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
- Maintain proper stock levels and oversee inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Implement lean warehousing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
SAP & Systems Management
- Utilize SAP WM/EWM to manage inventory transactions, goods movement, and warehouse processes.
- Generate and analyze SAP reports to monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and turnaround times.
- Coordinate with IT/SAP teams for system enhancements, troubleshooting, and master data management.
- Train and support warehouse staff on SAP usage and best practices.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to ensure productivity and compliance with safety standards.
- Schedule workloads, assign tasks, and evaluate employee performance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency drills regularly.
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with business needs.
- Provide regular reports to management on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational challenges.
