About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our e-commerce fulfilment centre. You will own the full order lifecycle — from inbound receiving and inventory accuracy through to pick/pack and last-mile handoff — while building a high-performing team and keeping safety and compliance front and centre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all inbound and outbound operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch to meet daily SLAs.
• Maintain real-time inventory accuracy; conduct cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to keep shrinkage below target thresholds.
• Lead, schedule, and coach a team of warehouse associates; conduct regular performance reviews and drive a culture of accountability.
• Coordinate with the logistics and e-commerce teams to forecast volume, plan staffing, and handle seasonal peaks.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations; conduct daily floor walks and maintain incident logs.
• Oversee WMS (Warehouse Management System) usage; identify process gaps and implement improvements to throughput and accuracy.
• Manage carrier relationships and resolve escalated shipping or returns issues in a timely manner.
• Track and report KPIs (order accuracy, on-time dispatch, shrinkage, labour productivity) to senior management weekly.
Requirements:
• 3–7 years of experience in warehouse or distribution centre management, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
• Proven track record of managing teams of 10+ associates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Hands-on experience with a WMS platform & AI tools for automations
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, cycle counting, and loss prevention.
• Familiarity with courier and 3PL coordination in the Indian market for logistics
• Working knowledge of EHS and warehouse safety standards.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and data analysis.
• Graduate degree preferred; a diploma or certification in Supply Chain / Logistics is a plus.
Nice to have:
• Experience scaling warehouse operations during rapid growth or major sale events (Big Billion Day, End of Season Sale, etc.).
• Exposure to returns management and reverse logistics workflows.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
