Warehouse Manager BESS Manufacturing
About The Role
The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and material flow activities for BESS manufacturing. The role is responsible for ensuring smooth inbound, storage, internal movement, and outbound operations while maintaining inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and system discipline in a highly automated warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics is an added advantage.
- 710 years of experience in warehouse or manufacturing operations, preferably in battery, automotive, electronics, or high-volume industrial environments.
- Prior experience in BESS, lithium-ion battery, automotive, or mobility-grade manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in end-to-end warehouse operations within high-volume, automated manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience managing ASRS, AGVs, automated material handling systems, and WMS-driven warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with a strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop frontline staff.
- Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling, EHS standards, and statutory compliance requirements in industrial setups.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze KPIs, automation performance metrics, and operational dashboards to drive improvements.
- Knowledge of Lean warehousing, 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning functions.
- Ability to manage 24x7 multi-shift operations in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
