Job Title: Warehouse Manager – Pharma/API

Experience: 10–14 years

Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Supply Chain/Logistics qualification preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead end-to-end warehouse operations in a regulated Pharma/API manufacturing environment. The role will oversee receipt, storage, issuance, inventory control, dispatch, logistics, and statutory compliance for raw materials, packing materials, intermediates, finished goods, solvents, engineering stores, and project materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, sampling coordination, storage, issuance, reconciliation, and dispatch of materials as per SOPs.
• Ensure GMP/GDP compliance, accurate documentation, logbook maintenance, label reconciliation, and SAP-based real-time inventory transactions.
• Monitor storage conditions, including cold-room records, and manage rejected, recalled, and controlled materials.
• Lead monthly physical inventory verification, investigate discrepancies, and track slow- and non-moving stock.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs; conduct periodic training for warehouse employees and contract manpower.
• Handle deviations, change controls, CAPA, incident investigations, and timely closure of cGMP documentation.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits, including USFDA, WHO, EDQM, and other applicable inspections.
• Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping, equipment calibration, fixed-asset control, and safe movement of hazardous or regulated materials.
• Coordinate with transporters and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely logistics operations.
• Maintain statutory records and coordinate with relevant authorities for excise, narcotics, petroleum, poison, and other applicable regulations.

Required Skills

• 10–14 years of warehouse experience in Pharma, API, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP, warehouse documentation, inventory control, and audit readiness.
• Hands-on proficiency in SAP.
• Experience managing regulatory and customer audits.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

This role is aligned with common regulated pharmaceutical warehouse responsibilities, including cGMP-compliant material handling, SOP/change-control management, SAP transactions, inventory reconciliation, staff training, logistics coordination, and audit support.
