Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, managing inventory, optimizing space and resources, and ensuring that the warehouse meets safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and logistical skills, with experience in warehouse management and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of products.
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space, maintain accurate inventory levels, and implement strategies to streamline operations.
Inventory Control:
- Ensure proper inventory management, stock rotation, and minimize discrepancies by implementing regular checks.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to forecast demand, track stock levels, and reorder inventory as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and ensure they align with system records.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with company goals.
- Conduct performance appraisals, set goals, and provide continuous training and support to staff members.
- Ensure the team adheres to safety guidelines, operational procedures, and company policies.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that the warehouse is compliant with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe material handling practices.
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, operations, and supply chain) and external vendors to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
- Monitor the delivery schedules and manage the logistics team to optimize dispatch routes and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy.
- Leverage technology (warehouse management systems, etc.) to optimize inventory tracking and reporting.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, stock levels, operational efficiency, and team performance.
- Maintain proper documentation for all warehouse activities, including receipts, dispatches, and returns.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's and Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
