Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Puducherry for a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, including managing inventory levels and stock control, coordinating logistics, ensuring the efficiency of operations, and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities also include optimizing storage procedures, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring the proper use of equipment such as forklifts, and collaborating with other departments to improve operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Stock Control, Inventory Management, and Inventory Control.
- Strong experience in Operations Management and workforce supervision.
- Proficiency in Forklift Operation and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with problem-solving skills to handle day-to-day challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
