Job Title: Warehouse Executive Packing & Operations

Department: Warehouse / Fulfilment Operations

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Fulfilment Centre

Job Purpose

Manage end-to-end warehouse tasks and packing operations: receive and store stock, pick

and pack orders, scan and label shipments, update systems, and prepare consignments for

dispatch, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and cost-efficient packaging.

Core Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations (40%)

• Receive inbound shipments; inspect for damage and reconcile against PO.
• Put-away to designated locations and maintain organized bins/racks.
• Assist cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and returns processing.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the warehouse.

Order Picking & Packing (50%)

• Accurately pick orders using pick-lists/OMS/WMS. Verify SKU, size, color, quantity.
• Fold to SOP and pack using approved materials (polybag, mailer, box).
• Prioritize compact packaging target dead weight & 500 g when feasible.
• Scan product barcodes and ensure scannability & SKU match.
• Print and affix shipping labels (customer address, order ID, courier barcode, SKU).
• Seal parcels, sort by courier, and stage for pickup.

Quality & Systems (10%)

• Conduct final quality checks: defects, stains, mismatches. Follow SOP for rejects.
• Update order status in OMS/WMS or Excel trackers (Packed / Ready for Dispatch).
• Track packaging material stocks and request replenishment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: 12th Pass minimum; Graduate (Commerce/Logistics) preferred.
• 02 years in warehouse/e-commerce preferred.
• Basic Excel (entry, filters), basic computer/web-portal skills.
• Knowledge of barcode scanning, thermal label printing, courier portals
• Strong attention to detail, pace, reliability.

Tools & Systems

• Handheld/mobile barcode scanner, thermal printer, cutter.
• Excel / Google Sheets; OMS / WMS; Courier platforms (Shiprocket, Pickrr, Eshopbox).

KPIs (measured weekly/monthly)

• Packing accuracy (%) target 99% (adjust per company).
• Orders packed per hour target as per station benchmark.
• Packaging compliance SOP adherence rate.
• Damage / return rate minimize to below set threshold.
• Dispatch readiness SLA pick to packed within defined minutes/hours.

Shift timings as per warehouse schedule. Monday to Saturday.

Saturday half day and Sunday Fixed OFF
