The Warehouse Executive is responsible for managing the storage, handling, and distribution of food products while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, inventory accuracy, and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and cycle counts
- Minimize wastage, spoilage, and expired goods (FIFO/FEFO adherence)
2. Goods Handling & Storage
- Supervise receiving, unloading, and storage of goods
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage conditions (temperature, hygiene)
- Maintain cold storage standards if applicable
3. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate order picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers/outlets
- Work closely with logistics and transport teams
4. Compliance & Food Safety
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the warehouse
- Ensure proper pest control and safety practices
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inward/outward registers, GRNs, and dispatch records
- Prepare daily/weekly inventory and dispatch reports
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP tools
6. Team Coordination
- Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and helpers
- Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols
