Job Description – Warehouse & Logistics Executive
Location - Vadodara
Department: Brand & Performance Textile Specialities – Warehouse Operations
Role Summary
Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and logistics coordination. Ensure timely dispatch, high stock accuracy, process compliance, cost optimization, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Handle inbound receipts, document verification, GRN, and discrepancy resolution
- Plan and execute domestic & export dispatches with 100% documentation accuracy
- Manage Delivery Orders (DO), urgent shipments, and transporter coordination
- Oversee job work (tolling) dispatches ensuring no delays or rollovers
Warehouse & Inventory Control
- Maintain stock accuracy ≥ 99%
- Conduct physical verification and reconciliation
- Monitor warehouse and job worker inventory movement
- Manage returns, QNS checks, and approvals
Logistics & Transport
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure optimal vehicle utilization and freight cost efficiency
- Track LR status and ensure timely SAP updates
- Drive lead time and delivery performance improvements
Compliance & Audits
- Conduct process, safety, and stock audits
- Ensure adherence to fire safety and operational standards
- Train transporters, drivers, and shop-floor teams
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly MIS and performance reports
- Track OTIF, dispatch accuracy, and cost-saving initiatives
- Maintain SAP data accuracy and reporting compliance
Key KPIs
- OTIF ≥ 98%
- Dispatch Accuracy ≥ 99.9%
- Stock Accuracy ≥ 99%
- LR Collection ≥ 99%
- Timely SAP updates
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree (mandatory)
- 10–15 years in warehousing, logistics, and EXIM operations
- Strong knowledge of GST, compliance, and SAP systems
